Hieronder een brief van Keith en Maxine die hiermee uitleggen waarom ze Moulin de Passais hebben verkocht.
Hello everyone.
In the year 2000 Maxine and I came across two buildings in need of total renovation and a lake that had been abandoned for 30-40 years, we took a calculated risk and bought them and after 3 years of renovation we opened our doors to the Angling world on 29th March 2003, our first Anglers were the Andy Lear party, who liked it so much they visited us 6 times in 3 years before moving on to try other lakes, our hard worked paid off for us, being fully booked for 6 of the 7 years, the other year was for recreation, rest and some much needed work on the lake.
After nearly 10 years, the time has come for us to move on and do something else and with this in mind it is our sad duty to let you all know that we have now sold our property to a young couple who want to take Passais to another level, Simon and Sarah will make you all welcome and will contact you by e-mail in a short while, rest assured the hospitality you enjoyed from us and the great sport you have enjoyed over the years will continue and remain the same, they, also look forward to meeting and working with you all in 2010 and beyond.
Maxine and I thank you all very much for your support over the last 8 years, we know that you have left here after a great weeks fishing, many of you re-booking every year for 7 years, we are very great full for the support and friendships that we have made.
That leaves me to say goodbye from both of us, we sincerely hope you will continue to support the new owners in their quest to make Passais a venue better than before, the lake stocks have been renewed over the last two years and Passais now boasts 60 carp over 30lb with 3 x40’s included, 2010 should see more Anglers reporting 40’s on the bank on a regular basis.

Simon and Sarah zijn nu de nieuwe eigenaren van het water Moulin de Passais. De boekingen gaan gewoon door zoals altijd.

Ook hier bewijzen we weer eens dat winter vissen echt wel karpers op kan leveren, en zeker als men zich kan opwarmen in het gelweldig mooi ingerichte chalet.

Deze winter zijn er wat grote karpers bijgekomen op Moulin de Passais. Hier onder hebben we maar enkele foto`s van de uitzetting. Nu nog meer kans op een grote karper op dit water.
